Max Verstappen Autographs & Chrome

Once you’re past base cards, the Max Verstappen market splits into the two things serious collectors chase: signatures and shine. Both live in the Topps Formula 1 program, and both trade on the live eBay market — this catalog carries in-stock chrome and refractor examples, but real autographed singles here are eBay-only, and that’s a deliberate honesty call, not an oversight (see the FAQ below).

Autographs

Verstappen autographs come from across the Topps F1 lines, topping out with the ultra-premium Topps Dynasty Formula 1, known for on-card autos and race-used memorabilia. Elsewhere in the program his verified Chrome signature is CAC-VER (present in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Chrome F1 checklists and 2024 Chrome Sapphire), joined by D75A-VER in 2025 and CMS-VER and 1954-VER in 2024 — several of them running as numbered refractor parallels (a serial like /25 or /5 drives value hard). The exclusive Topps contract, and the card it produced

In 2025 Topps signed an exclusive autograph, trading-card and merchandise contract with Max Verstappen and marked it with a genuine grail: a one-of-one relic in 2025 Topps Eccellenza Formula 1 containing a piece of his race-worn suit from the fastest lap in F1 history, inserted into a single random pack. Eccellenza is also where his more attainable premium autos and relics sit: autographs average roughly 1:8 boxes in the 2025 edition, and the relic menu includes jumbo race-suit swatches, nameplates, gloves, balaclavas and boots. He appears in the Centurione (100+ Grands Prix), Eccellenza, Essenza, La Passione, La Squadra (with Yuki Tsunoda), Supremo and Trionfo subsets.

Things to check on any auto listing:

• On-card vs. sticker — on-card is generally preferred.
• Serial number — lower is scarcer.
• Grade / authentication — for anything expensive, buy it graded (PSA or SGC) so the signature and condition are certified.

Chrome & refractors

The chromium side comes from Topps Chrome Formula 1 and the online-exclusive Chrome F1 Sapphire — a distinct, glassy-finish edition sold separately from retail/hobby Chrome (see the FAQ for how the two differ). These are the refractor “rainbow” — the same card in a run of numbered color parallels, from common refractors up to low-numbered superfractors. Chrome also seeds short-print insert subsets like F1 Award Winners, numbered independently from the base checklist.
